Oliver has been receiving 1 drop of Zilis UltraCell CBD Hemp Oil every evening since Monday, and I have to say, it’s very obvious he feels good when it’s in his system.

At first, I wasn’t sure how I was going to get the oil into his body. I ended up putting a drop of oil on the end of a piece of celery (Oliver loves celery), and I held the celery for him while he munched off the part with the oil on it. Piece of cake.

I went to check on him an hour later, and he was running around like he was a baby again. The next night I went downstairs to find him trying to hump Delilah, so he must have been feeling particularly frisky. He also has been leaving random turds in places he wants to claim as his own - another sign he is feeling better than usual. Annoying to clean up, but it makes me happy he is feeling good and seems to be more like he used to be when he could still see.

A vet told me that cats and rabbits can have 1-2 drops of CBD a day, so I will start giving Oliver another drop in the mornings this week. While Zilis CBD oil lasts in the human system for up to 12 hours, it only lasts in a cat or rabbit’s system for 2 hours because of the way their systems process the oil.

I’ll take ‘before’ photos of Oliver’s eyes this weekend and post them so that we can see any improvements over the coming weeks.
